Man, 40, missing without a trace

Have you seen André Dawid Havenga who has been missing for over a month?

The family of André Dawid Havenga, 40, who has gone missing over a month ago, is reaching out to Krugersdorp for answers.

“We honestly don’t know where to look for him anymore. He has disappeared into thin air,” said his worried sister Erika Stoltz.

Havenga was living with his sister at the time of his disappearance. He allegedly found a friend dead on the morning of 20 August and has not returned home since.

His sister who has searched everywhere, including several mortuaries in Johannesburg, contacted the News in a desperate attempt to locate her brother who has many friends in the Krugersdorp area.

Havenga left his sister’s house in Brixton, only wearing shorts, a T-shirt and tekkies.

“We haven’t seen him since,” she said.

The News contacted the Pink Ladies, who confirmed his disappearance. They said, “He actually went missing from the Brixton area and is still missing.”

Havenga has two tattoos; one on his left arm and the other on his leg.

If anyone has information about his whereabouts, contact his sister Erika Stoltz on 082 464 3298.

“I just want him to come home,” an emotional Stoltz said.
