One of the two police constables who were arrested for bribery yesterday (1 September), has been linked to the female warrant officer who was caught shoplifting at Cradlestone Mall.
The two constables were arrested following a bribery incident in Krugersdorp North earlier this year.

It is believed the constables from the Krugersdorp Police Station pulled over two vehicles in Krugersdorp North and demanded a bribe after threatening the drivers and their passengers with their lives.
“Do you want to f**cking die tonight? I will kill you!” the one constable allegedly said to the passengers in the one vehicle before instructing the driver to go and withdraw R2 000 bribe money.
The constables made a brief appearance in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court yesterday and were released on R1 500 bail each.
The News received word that the constable is the ex-husband of the female warrant officer who was arrested for shoplifting at the Vodacom store in Cradlestone on 20 August.
The constables are due back in court on 23 September.
