The Muldersdrift police along with numerous stakeholders came together to celebrate a very special Tata-Madiba Day.
On 18 July the Holomisa family and some friends, Muldersdrift police, Polokego Shelter for abused woman and children, the Muldersdrift Youth Desk and the local councilor celebrated Nelson Mandela Day by giving 67 minutes of their time to the local community.
The stakeholders met at the Joe Slovo informal settlement, in Muldersdrift, where they donated blankets to the elderly citizens of the community and spend some time with the residents.
“The action station commander, Captain Phiri appreciates the initiative made by the Holomisa family and their friends as it will make a difference in the lives of those who received the gifts. A special thanks to the members of the police who participated in the wonderful and important day,” Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya, spokesperson of the Muldersdrift police, said.
