Police conducts successful operation

Almost 20 suspects were arrested after which an unlicensed firearm was also recovered.

Seventeen suspects were arrested during a special police operation by the Krugersdorp Cluster last Friday 15 May.

Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya, said the crimes varies from possession of unlicensed firearms to shoplifting.

All arrested suspects will be charged and will also make brief appearances in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon.

Major General Anna Mateisi, Cluster Commander said she appreciates the good work from the various police stations in the cluster.
