The Sector 9 Community Policing Forum (CPF) along with local police have done it again.
The CPF and police had a special operation to eliminate the illegal dealing and using of drugs in the area.
The group was following up after members of the community sent a tip-off about an increase in drug abuse in a townhouse complex situated in Mindalore.
The special operation team conducted the search on 24 March in Ruben Street.
Although they had anticipated to raid a few units in the complex the team successfully managed to make an arrest at the first house they entered.
At this unit the patrollers along with the police found a suspect in possession of illegal drugs.
After searching the townhouse members found paraphernalia which included a homemade pipe to smoke the drug known as Cat or Crystal Meth.
The CPF will be working on similar special operations in the near future to combat crime and eliminate the drug epidemic in the area.
