Looking for an Easter of hope?

Forget traditions and join in on an Easter Family Fun Day of hope.

Children of Krugersdorp can look forward to an Easter of hope with a special fundraising event and a visit by none other than the Easter bunny.

An Easter Family Fun day will be hosted by The Cradle of Hope organisation to raise much-needed funds for the Tjokkertjies vir Jesus initiative.

The day promises to include loads of fun with games for the little ones, exciting prizes and delicious food all in the name of charity. Forget about the usual traditions and give a little hope this Easter by supporting a worthy cause.

The Cradle’s very own Pastor Jakes will conduct a special Easter sermon while children snack on some chocolate delights.

Businesses in the community have taken hands to support the Cradle, which has been playing a very important and prominent role in the community for the past few years.

Businesses such as Hollywood Costumes will supply a (secret) costume, Gladiator will supply a few jumping castles for the children and the local supermarket, Brian’s Supermarket, will donate 30 per cent of its profit on the day to the Cradle.

With 42 underprivileged children currently at the Tjokkertjies vir Jesus school, the Cradle is in dire need of funds to support the children.

Children at the school not only are taught early childhood development skills but also have fun and receive a warm cooked meal daily as 90 per cent of their parents can not afford to pay school fees.

Be sure not to miss the Easter Family Fun Day on 11 April from 10am at Lallies en Lappies Nursery School next to Salvage Net, Rustenburg Road, Krugersdorp West.
