Bikers invited to join ride along for Yolandie

The community of Krugersdorp greets yet another biker who passed away after an accident.

The motorbiking community of Krugersdorp is still shocked by the news of the death of Yolandie Grobler following a fatal accident on 28 February.

Her husband Dawie Grobler, who was rushed to Leratong Hospital for treatment for a broken hand, ankle and wrist, has since been discharged and is also believed to be out on bail.

The cause of the accident is still unknown and under police investigation.

To celebrate Yolandie’s life, bikers, friends and family are invited to a memorial ceremony to be held at the West Rand Bikers Church (WRBC) at 8 Kershaw Road in Dan Pienaarville from noon on Friday, 6 March.

The biking community is welcome to join the Wicket Wheels Biking Club who will lead a mass ride from the Martin’s Funeral Services in Krugersdorp from 11.15am.

With various posts on several facebook pages, it is not hard to see the void Yolandie is leaving behind in the biking community.
