Drugged and robbed by troublemaker

Police and CPF are on the lookout for a local troublemaker who allegedly drugged and robbed a man.

Community policing forum members (CPF) of sector 9 found a man drugged in a field in Lewisham.

He was covered in a white blanket in a field in Edward Street on Friday, 27 February.

When he was approached by the CPF members, he was lifeless, but could manage to tell the members he was drugged and robbed by a local troublemaker in the area.

It is alleged that the man was given Nyaope to smoke after which he was robbed of his belongings by the perpetrator.

He was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment as he showed signs of an overdose.

It is believed the suspect is known by the CPF who has received a lot of complaints linked to this particular troublemaker.

The troublemaker is believed to be 30 years old and was also connected to a robbery at a local pub later that night.

Police is allegedly on a manhunt looking for the suspect.
