The most wanted suspect in connection with the murder of a Muldersdrift man earlier this month, has been apprehended.
Hitler Ngwenya, a police spokesperson said detectives of the Muldersdrift Police received information from the public which led to the arrest of this suspect.
The 37-year-old suspect appeared briefly in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court for house robbery and the murder of Charles Henderson, 61.
Ngwenya said Henderson and his wife was inside their home on their smallholding in Lindley, when they heard the dogs barking from outside.
“Henderson went outside to investigate, where after he was assaulted and forced back inside and further assaulted until he died.”
Another suspect in the case has already made an appearance in court after a preliminary investigation led to his arrest more than a week ago.
