The community came together on social media to help share and tweet about the missing teenager Chane Nay Naude.
Naude went missing on 13 January and was last seen wearing pajamas.
The post which went viral saw friends, family and community members working together to help find the 16-year-old teen from Noordheuwel.
The news received word late yesterday afternoon 14 January from her mother, Catherine Jordaan, that her daughter was found and safely returned home.
“Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word about Chane,” says a relieved Jordaan thankfully.
