SAPS Cluster arrests 264

The arrests came as a result of members working as a team daily and operations held by different stations.

The Krugersdorp Police cluster arrested 264 suspects for various crimes during the week of 10 to 16 November.

The arrests varies from serious crimes such as rape, fraud, theft of motor vehicle, housebreaking and theft, armed robbery, pointing of firearm, possession of gold-bearing material and attempted murder to less serious crimes such as railway crossing, loitering and illegal immigrants.

The arrests came as a result of members working as a team daily and operations held by different stations.

These operations consisted of stop-and-search actions and raids conducted in areas around the cluster.

Cluster commander Major General Mateisi was so impressed with the hard work and dedication of her cluster. She commended her members and said they should keep up their hard work.
