Large donation for needy youngsters

Mobile ablution, admin and sick bay units were donated on the day.

Local business Hi-Way Parkhomes came to the rescue of Reamogetswe Centre, a haven for vulnerable children situated in the informal part of Muldersdrift on Madiba Day.

They replaced 45 blankets that recently were stolen.

The centre offers various services such as providing daily meals to children in the area, conducting home visits, providing psychological support to children (especially those dealing with loss due to HIV and Aids) and helping residents with grant applications and educational support.

Hi-Way Parkhomes went the extra mile by donating mobile ablution, admin and sick bay units on the day. This will assist the centre to qualify for assistance from the government as they need to comply with certain criteria.

Rentals manager Vennissia Davies says having taken part in the project created a new sense of appreciation for what the centre is doing.
