A cup of tea with hope

The Cradle of Hope requires the help of volunteers urgently.

Members of the Krugersdorp community came together for a cup of tea with the Cradle of Hope organisation on 22 June.

The team of the charity organisation led the tea by discussing the financial state of the organisation, as well as their needs.

The Cradle team urged the visitors at the House of Restoration to lend a helping hand by becoming part of the Cradle of Hope by means of volunteering and donations.

They are in need of volunteers to help to sort the stock in their storerooms, to help present various extracurricular activities, and handling administrative tasks.

Although the Cradle no longer has a charity shop, the organisation still aims to host a jumble sale on a monthly basis to generate much-needed funds for the organisation.

They require the help of volunteers not only to help to sort the donations in the storeroom but also to sell the goods at various stalls at their upcoming monthly jumble sales.

Cradle of Hope is also in dire need of trustworthy volunteers to assist them with the collection of donated goods in and around the Krugersdorp area.

The organisation urges Krugersdorp’s creative people to come forward and assist them with making and selling as well as promoting the Cradle of Hope crafts at the Hope Centre.

Around 20 members of the community shared ideas about different means of raising funds for the organisation and promoting the charity. After the talks by the Cradle of Hope team the guests enjoyed cake and tea all in the name of hope.
