It’s almost time to Festa!
The Krugersdorp Festa will be an entertainment frenzy for residents on October 6.
It is time to celebrate true Portuguese style as the Holy Rosary Catholic Church will be hosting the Krugersdorp Festa on Sunday, 6 October.
According to the Festa committee, this event takes place once a year, and this will be the 31st one.
“International artists will be featured, including Miguel Preguero, Jan Mattys, Fatima Nery, DJ Miki, DJ Paul and traditional dancers,” the committee said.
Gates will open at 11:00 and the Festa will continue until 22:00. There will be entertainment for everyone, as well as food, including the iconic espetadas and folk dancers.
Tickets are R20 and free for children under six. The church is located at 064 Luipaard Street, Krugersdorp.
