Crash near Key West at busy Paardekraal intersection sees many injured

A crash occured at the Paardekraal Drive and Viljoen Street intersection near Key West Shopping Centre tonight, July 18, which left at least 10 people injured.

According to Mogale City Public Saftey’s Richard Monyane, a taxi collided with five other vehicles that were driving towards Paardekraal Drive and the taxi driver making a turn towards Voortrekker Road.

The Krugersdorp News arrived on the scene with various Public Saftey officials, including police and paramedics, on the scene assisting those affected. No serious casualties or deaths were reported.

Monyane confirms that some passengers were assisted and taken to a medical care facility following the incident.
