Swaneville gospel singer Lufuno Mudau shares his story.
Lufuno Mudau, also known as Mr Favoured is a local, born-again Gospel artist, songwriter, gospel promoter, and artist manager.
He said he was born in Limpopo province and currently resides in Krugersdorp, where he serves as a minister of the Word. He continued he has a passion for gospel music and is the director of an NPO called Feed God’s Children.
“In our NPO, we help children who don’t have money to go to school so we pay for their pre-school fees and we give them food parcels and clothes. We also help an upcoming artist to record their singles and to market and find the platform of performance for them. We are doing all of this out of pocket, and are open to any donations,” Lufuno said.
“I started my career in singing at churches in the year 2000. I then went on to record as a solo artist. I have been nominated for various awards such as the Ingoma Award. In 2020, I went to professionally record music that consists of six songs and I was a nominee at the Lama Awards. One of these songs includes Great Is Thee,” Lufuno said.
He continued that all his songs can be found on all digital platforms, including, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.
