Market day and fun at Sunset Bistro Market

Monthly Muldersdrift market a success.

The loss of jobs during the global Covid-19 pandemic encouraged many individuals to start a business that would put food on the table.

That’s why residents of Muldersdrift and surrounding areas have the Sunset Bistro Market, founded by mother and son Chantell and Bratley Mawn.

The market is hosted once a month and offers live performances by different artists, horseback riding, a play area for little ones, and delicious pizzas and burgers for the family to enjoy.

On May 26, the market featured 15 stalls selling a variety of foods, drinks, and handcrafted creations. According to Chantell, they try to keep the market as small and intimate as possible so that people can relax and browse at leisure.
