No woman left behind for inspiration

SA and Beyond held a woman's empowerment programme at Muldersdrift to reach out to women.

Many women go through many challenges daily whether it is balancing out their daily lives of being a mother to their dearest children or just needing some sense of direction in their life.

However, a women empowerment programme is here to ensure that women will have a sense of direction and belonging as they face their challenges.

The SA and Beyond and She Inspires programme was held at Kloofzicht Lodge’s Spa in Muldersdrift on December 2 to reach out to women from all walks of life to give them the space to express and empower themselves as they navigate life. SA and Beyond is a magazine that speaks to females across the globe. Apart from sharing the inspiring journeys of many resilient women, the publication aims to entertain, educate and empower its readers.

The programme featured some special guests such as Nikki Busch who gave some sound advice to the women in attendance. Nikki is an award-winning speaker and five-time best-selling author. Nikki is the first woman in South Africa to be inducted into both the Speakers and Educators Hall of Fame, and she has been recognised by the Ford Motor Company as a Woman with Drive. As a much-respected thought leader, Nikki is the go-to person for the media having fielded over 4 500 interviews, with weekly slots on radio and TV. Nikki will reset your mind and shift your heart, helping you to become change-ready for anything.

Sunisha Sookdew, the founder of the magazine, explained how important it was to have the programme and how it will benefit women.

“We call it SA and Beyond because we not only want to speak to women in the country but women everywhere all across the world. We want women to be inspired, to have a voice recognise their power.”
