Key West and others come together to knit for Cradle of Hope
Old age homes, Key West's staff, and even shoppers joined hands by knitting blankets for The Cradle of Hope recently.
Key West Shopping Centre together with Munsieville Old Age Home, Moria Home for the Aged and even shoppers recently came together to knit, stitch by stitch, for a good cause.
According to Key West’s marketing manager Birdy Modise, the aim was to knit blankets together which were eventually donated to The Cradle of Hope. The handover which also included purchased blankets was made late last month.

“The charity home’s dedication to caring for orphans and vulnerable children in the community is truly heartwarming and close to our hearts. Madiba Month is a call to action for individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on values and principles and to make a positive impact in our own communities.”
