HTS N Diederichs THS soccer boys bring the trophies home

The team won the Foundational Cup and the Easter Schools Tournament.

HTS N Diederichs THS is very proud of their U/17 soccer boys who have been raking in the trophies.

The team won the Foundational Cup when they competed in a one-day tournament on Tuesday, May 10. They also competed in the Easter Schools Tournament on April 11 and won that tournament as well.

Their coach, Gift Seziba said he was very proud of the boys. He explained that they only started the team last year and made a name for themselves. They ended up playing in the Pan African championships at the end of last year, and this year they are bringing home the trophies.

So far they are unbeaten in the winter games league and even beat Krugersdorp High School with a score of 3–0 recently.

They are also currently taking part in the Kay Motshepe league and preparing for the June tournaments. Well done boys!
