Theft tops EPR’s weekly report of 22 incidents

The latest EPR crime report shows that 22 incidents were reported, with theft dominating followed by break-ins.

The latest EPR crime report shows that 22 incidents were reported to this security company between April 18 and 24.

Most of the incidents, six, were reported on Monday, April 18. The rest of the week was quiet but on Sunday, April 24 five incidents were reported.

Theft was a concern once again and eight were reported. This was followed by five break-ins, three incidents of damage to property, and two attempted thefts. One incident each of trespassing, domestic violence, robbery and an open door were reported.

Twelve of the incidents were reported between 12:00 and 00:00, and seven took place at businesses.

Three incidents were reported in the Krugersdorp CBD, three in Rant-En-Dal, two in Silverfields, two in Noordheuwel, two in Monument, two in Beckedan, two in West Village and one each in Witpoortjie, Rangeview, Boltonia, Protearif, Oatlands and Tarlton.

Incidents reported to EPR between April 18 and 24.
