Three injured, one critical, during early-hours accident in Lanseria
Paramedics and the fire department were called out after midnight to free and treat one critically injured victim of a road collision.
Emergency services were called out following a collision at the R512 and R552 intersection in Lanseria during the early morning hours on 10 December.
The collision between two light vehicles left four injured – one critically.
ER24 paramedics, along with City of Johannesburg and Lanseria Fire Services, arrived on the scene shortly after midnight to find the two cars in the middle of the road.

One man was found trapped inside one of the cars in a critical condition. Other patients were found walking around the scene.
City of Johannesburg and Lanseria Fire Services had to use specialised tools to free the man from the vehicle. Once freed, medics treated the patients and provided the critically injured man with advanced life support interventions.
The patients were transported to hospital for further treatment.
