Vehicle rolls on N14 – six injured
An emergency helicopter was called to airlift the critically injured.
Six men were injured, two critically, this afternoon, 17 February, after a vehicle rolled on the N14 between the Malibongwe and Beyers Naude Drive turnoffs near Cosmos City.
ER24 paramedics, along with other emergency services, arrived on the scene to find the wrecked light motor vehicle in the middle of the centre median. Six men were found lying outside the vehicle.

Paramedics assessed the men and found that two had sustained critical injuries with the four others only moderately injured.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided the two critically injured men with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter, as well as another private medical helicopter, was called to the scene to airlift the injured to a nearby hospital.
The remaining four men were transported by ambulances to nearby facilities.
The cause of this incident is subject to the investigation by local authorities.
