We pray for you Knysna

Seeing the devastation and reading about the heartache occurring in Knysna and surrounds has left me in awe.

In awe because our community came together to provide relief – and I for one am tremendously proud to call Krugersdorp my home. You have once again proved that your kindness towards your fellow-man knows no bounds.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every person who helped, who prayed and who organised relief efforts.

While the homeless pick up the pieces from their burnt down homes, we here on the West Rand are trying to get some much needed aid your way. I realise that words might not mean much to you right now, but we hope you find comfort in knowing that we’re trying to make things easier for you.

From my side, I would also like to thank my incredible team. Your efforts and drive speak a thousand words. I salute you. To our Caxton family at our northern branches and at our head office, well-done for everything you have accomplished during the last couple of days. You guys are miracle-workers.

We have not stopped with our relief efforts and will continue collecting goods which will be sent off to George very soon.
