Just in case you were wondering how my cycling and road to fitness were going, here's a quick update.

Just in case you were wondering how my cycling and road to fitness were going, here’s a quick update.

I recently joined a local spinning class to help me get bike-fit, and apart from nearly dying at every class, I am starting to enjoy the slow torture that comes with it.

My spinning instructor once mentioned in class that your body starts to crave the exercise. I am still waiting for that yearning feeling to kick in where I wish the time away so that I can head on over to spin class.

In actual fact, I am wishing that the day lasts longer. As I am typing this, my head is slowly bowing in shame … because who in their right mind wants a Monday to last longer?

In all honesty, it is actually not that bad and the pumping music played while we spin really helps too!

I want to take this opportunity to thank Donna and her team for the warm welcome and for allowing me to wallow in my imaginary pain as I try to cycle to the beat of Def Leppard’s Pour some sugar on me!

I am beginning to feel less like a spaz when I go cycling on the road with my husband.

As Dory from Finding Nemo would say, “Just keep swimming!” Well in this case, it’s “Just keep spinning”.
