Winter Knights back in town

Help those in need during the winter by donating to the Winter Knights project.

The Round Table (Florida 21 division) is hosting the annual Winter Knights Project at President Hyper where the organisation will collect goods for the coming winter.

“Winter Knights is a hands on national project where we as Round Table support our local communities by collecting donations from the public to give back to those in need. This event is held every year during winter and we urge you to please support your community by donating,” saidĀ Gerhard van der Berg, Chairman from Round Table Florida21

Round Table Florida 21 is part of an international charitable association, Round Table International, which holds discussions and undertakes community service.

The main purpose of this event is to help spread warmth to those less fortunate through the donations from the community in the form of non- perishables, clothing, blankets and cash donations.

On Sunday 29 May and Sunday 5 June, you can drop off tinned food, old clothes or blankets at President Hyper’s main entrance.

“The donations we receive will be handed out to those in need out on the streets,” he said.
