[VIDEO] Another vehicle nearly stolen?

A week after a bakkie was stolen in broad daylight, suspects hit again.

A week after suspects were captured in broad daylight on a CCTV camera stealing a Toyota Hilux bakkie at a popular restaurant, perpetrators struck again.

Local Community Policing Forum patrollers of Sector 4 were called to Van Oord Street after a Toyota Fortuner was broken into on 2 April.

The owner of the vehicle was parked on the opposite side of the shopping center.

It is believed the suspects were interrupted and fled without a trace.

Arriving at the scene, patrollers and the owner of the vehicle were shocked to learn that the vehicle’s inside was nearly stripped to pieces right under their noses.

The suspects most probably gained entry into the vehicle by disarming the alarm through the bonnet.

Dent on the body of the vehicle where the suspects possibly managed to disarm the vehicle's alarm allowing them to gain access.
