Police need information about a murder

Police need answers after a man was found murdered with scratch marks in his neck.

Kagiso police are appealing to members of the community to come forward with any information that can assist in successfully tracking down the perpetrators of murder.

Police responded to a complaint of a murder in Tshepisong in Impala Road on 27 January.

On arrival at the scene of crime, the police found the body of the man on the ground facing upwards as members of the community gathered around the deceased.

The deceased sustained injuries to his body including his arms and legs with scratch marks to the neck with blood coming out his mouth.

There was no weapon found near the body nor any signs of a struggle.

Kagiso police have launched an investigation into the matter and have since opened a murder docket.

“The Kagiso police are concerned about members of the community who continue to ignore the police’s warning to not take the law into their own hands,” commented Kagiso Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer, Solomon Sibiya.
