Where is our Mayor?

This weekend, residents of an informal settlement near West Villages started protesting after our Mayor failed to show up for an arranged meeting with them.

Come to think of it, I, myself have not seen our Mayor in almost two years.

Whenever there is a big event in Krugersdorp, Mogale City representatives are always present and when they address the crowd they always make excuses for the Mayor.

So now the question remains, where is our Mayor and why is he never to be seen?

You must know, when the Mayor does make an appearance, it means the event is a really big deal. But then again, the past two years there have been some major events in Krugersdorp, and still Mr Mayor was not present.

Perhaps there is a simple explanation behind the Mayor’s absence. Perhaps not…
