Fitness has never looked this good

Fitness kings and queens came together to celebrate a year of success.

Fitness kings and queens from all over Krugersdorp came together at a glamorous awards ceremony inspired by Hollywood.

Aroeka Health and Supplements hosted their very first Aroeka Awards where they honoured individuals for their hard work and weight loss.

Guests were made to feel like celebrities and were welcomed on a red carpet where they were stopped by the ‘paparazzi’ who took photos before they entered the hall at Mount Usambara.

The theme of the night felt like something straight out of Hollywood with life-size Oscars, diamonds and sparkles.

Young Chrismè Swanepoel opened the evening with a worship song by Hillsong which set the tone of the night.

An inspiring speech by Aroeka owner, Princess Susan Fourie got the guests in tears as she thanked each and every member for being part of the fitness family.

Next the awards kicked off, where Jacques Bruwer was crowned as the Aroeka King and Serasue Rheeder as the Aroeka Queen.

Two of the members, Marryke Visser and Heleen Visagie were awarded with a special Beauties Award for their bravery following the armed robbery incident at the gym on 14 August.

Famous bodybuilder, John Leslie known as the Terminator got the guests talking with his performance where he showcased bodybuilding perfection.

Ewan Kromhout, owner of Supplements SA presented a talk about the use of supplements and gave the guests a sneak peek of new products to come in the future.

A surprise award was presented to Susan for being the best owner and an inspiration which she received while being applauded in a standing ovation.

“Success is waking up in the morning with an excitement inside of you and a drive for your passion, with an ambition to strive towards your goals. It is amazing that God has surrounded me with amazing people like all of you in my life,” an emotional Susan said.

A three course meal satisfied the guests’ appetite which got them ready to burn some calories on the dance floor after the awards ceremony.

“Thank you to all the partners and sponsors who contributed to a very successful night. To all my clients and friends, thank you.”
