Goodbye Jakes!

This week we greet Jacobus Myburgh and wish him all the best in his new role as news editor at the Alberton Record.

I knew this day would come, I just thought it would have come sooner rather than later with Jakes.

But none the less, I am very happy that Jakes stuck around Krugersdorp for three years because he did some amazing work!

I am extremely happy for Jakes and know that where ever he goes, he will make a success out of it, just like he did here at the News.

From my side I also would like to say thank you for your hard work and dedication.

You were always willing to help out and gave 110 per cent in everything you did.

We are going to miss you here at the West Rand office, but we are also looking forward to what you are going to do there in the South.

But we know where your roots lie and we are proud to call you a Krugersdorp native.
