So after everything has been removed and protestors getting what they protested for, what is next?

Renaming all the schools that are named after boere who fought in the Boere War?

I realise that a statue represents a certain period in the past that some might want to forget, but in order for us and our future generations to learn, a statue will mean a great deal.

Not only are you removing a piece of history, but you are also removing a piece of someone’s heart; someone who sculpted that statue.

How would you feel if someone came to your place of employment and removed everything that you did purely because they felt it is wrong?

Would you fight for it? Or would you stand by and watch?

I only have one message to the vandals; one day you will also be removed from the history pages, the real question will be, for what?
