Lewisham’s most beautiful crowned

Glitz and glamour set the stage for this year's Mr and Miss Lewisham Primary.

Once a year pupils of Lewisham Primary get an opportunity to take part in the school’s beauty pageant where they crown the fairest of them all.

The annual pageant was held on 10 and 11 March in the beautifully made-up school hall.

Glitz and glamour was the theme where the participating pupils put their best foot forward in hopes of taking home a crown. Yolanda Radyn and Sharon van der Boogert, the coordinators of the event, made sure the proceedings went down smoothly.

The first night saw the crowing of the smallest at the Junior Gala night, followed by the stylish Senior Gala night on Wednesday.

Local radio station Mogale FM joined in the fun and broadcasted live from the event.
