Three children injured in accident
Three children were injured after a driver skipped the red traffic light.
Saturday afternoon, 7 March, traffic came to a standstill after three children were injured in an accident at the entrance of a local shopping center.
It is believed that a blue VW Polo collided with another vehicle when the driver of the Polo allegedly skipped the red traffic light on the corner of Voortrekker Road and Van Oord Street at approximately 1.30pm.
The Facebook page, Krugersdorp Network Community’s users claimed that the three children were flung from the vehicle.
ER24 responded to the scene shortly after the collision.
