Two arrested for stealing booze and shoes

The two men in their twenties will appear in court soon.

Two suspects were arrested for housebreaking, theft and possession of stolen property at a house on Cecil Knight Street, Krugersdorp North.

It is alleged that the suspects broke a window to gain entry to the house.

According to Krugersdorp SAPS spokesperson Tshepiso Mashale they were spotted by CPF members who called the police to the scene.

“On arrival the police found two suspects already apprehended by the CPF members,” she says.

“Police searched the suspects and found the jewellery, shoes and liquor they allegedly had stolen from the house,” she says.

The suspects between the ages of 23 and 27 years will appear in court soon.

“The relationship between the CPF and the police is very important and assures a significant number of arrests each month,” says Mashale.
