Bike crash leaves youngster critical
Obstructions on the road caused a second accident.
A 19-year-old man is in a critical condition following an accident involving a motorcycle and two motor vehicles on the N14 near the Krugersdorp Game Reserve this morning (19 September).
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann paramedics and other services found the road severely obstructed following the accident.
One of the motor vehicles had overturned.
“When assessing the patients it was found that the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and an occupant of one of the vehicles sustained minor to moderate injuries,” says Steinmann.
“Both patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care,” she adds.
Steinmann says the exact details of the cause of the accident and preceding events will be investigated by police.
