Well done to Enid von Abo’s family

This past Saturday turned out to be quite an emotional one.
Not just for me, but for the friends and family of Enid von Abo too.

Enid has stage 4 brain cancer and decided to shave off her hair and her family and friends supported her by shaving their hair too.
Initially I wanted allocate the story to one of my journalists to cover, but for some reason something said to me that I must cover it myself, which I did.

What I learnt from the experience is that family is really all we have on this earth.
You can be filthy rich, and have lots of ‘friends’ and have no care in the world; all that can be taken away from you.
But family is forever. Through thick and thin, they will stand by you and today I am grateful for the wonderful family that I have.

Why not take some extra time this week and be thankful for the family you have?
It might just make all the difference.
