Class of 2022: KHS matrics knock it out the park

The KHS class of 2022 have made parents and teachers proud with an almost 99% pass rate. Many couldn't contain their excitement on results day.

It was evident that matric results celebrations were in the air, along with the suspense and looming question, “What does my certificate look like?” as they carefully moved towards the entrance, wondering whether they passed, sending uneasy grins in looks.

Krugersdorp High School’s (KHS) matrics of 2022 received their results at 08:00 on Friday, January 20 and achieved a remarkable 98,3% pass rate with 74 bachelor passes and over 100 distinctions. Their top achiever is Mahlatse Mahlake.

While many were too nervous, everyone looked dressed and ready. As you walk past a few learners, you could hear them saying how they hardly slept a wink thinking they should have studied harder for that one subject, however, the mood quickly changed from concerned, to “yes! I made it” after receiving their results.
