LETTER: Hardly any water in West Village

The water supply to West Village has been erratic to say the least with hardly any water at all during the nights – resident.

• Chris Schoonwinkel writes:

During the past couple of weeks the water supply to West Village has been erratic to say the least, with hardly any water at all during the nights.

Taking into account the number of senior people living here it’s been very uncomfortable for all inhabitants.

Rumour has it that there is a dispute between the electricity supplier and municipality about payment, and that this is the reason why the municipality is now using a contractor to fill the WV reservoir once or twice a day.

Meanwhile the residents of WV have to bear the brunt of this ‘dispute’.

This is not acceptable and something should be done immediately!
