CPF needs community’s help

CPF prepares to take to the streets in a Toy Patrol.

The community is invited to take hands with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) for their first Charity Toy Patrol.

All the sectors along with Mogale City’s Emergency Management Service and Fire Rescue will partake in the Toy Patrol on 12 December.

The theme is ‘Let toys bring joy this festive season’. Their aim is to collect as many toys as possible to put smiles on the faces of those less fortunate in Krugersdorp.

CPF members ask the community to collect and donate small toys, sweets, clothing and anything else that can put a smile on a little one’s face.

These gifts will be distributed fairly among less fortunate children in Krugersdorp, no discrimination or preference will be tolerated.

“As the CPF members continuously give their time to the community, the community is asked to give back to the CPF by supporting the Toy Patrol so they can give back to the less fortunate,” Lindie Breed, vice chairperson for Sector 8 CPF said.

For more information, or to donate contact Lindie on 083 358 2059. Donations can be dropped off at any Krugersdorp CPF’s monthly meeting gathering.
