[PHOTOS] Policewomen celebrate Heritage Day in style

Traditional style, that is.

Amidst the Heritage Day festivities around the country, the Krugersdorp Police Cluster’s policewomen joined in on the fun at the Tarlton Police Station.

From traditional Zulu beaded skirts to Boer wear, these officers were proud of their heritage, wearing different their cultures’ clothing.

On the day (23 September) meat was cooked in potjies, different styles of music played in the background and artists such as Lance James, Sany Lee and Nadine Burness entertained the multicultural audience.

Everyone enjoyed the event, which is held annually to bring all the policewomen in the cluster together for a celebration.
