A 24-year-old female was arrested for stealing goods at a local farm.
Hekpoort police arrested the suspect following a complaint about theft at a local farm situated near the new service station.
“Police alleges they received a complaint that there was somebody who was stealing goods from the farm. The members on duty rushed to the farm and found a woman picking pecan nuts from the trees on the farm,” Constable Gloria Maswanganye, Spokesperson for Hekpoort Police Station, said.
There is allegedly a two metre high fence around the farm which the suspect allegedly scaled in order to access the premises.
Police arrested the woman for theft who was detained at the Magaliesburg Police Station cells.
