Water and electricity meter reading schedule for your convenience

A meter reading schedule to allow residents to plan and prevent 'billing on average consumption.'

Even though many residents seldom have experiences with meter readers, a meter reading schedule might just change that.

The Billing Department of Mogale City Local Municipality urges residents to allow meter readers access to their properties in order to read their water and electricity meters.

Some residents have meter boxes that are locked away or is inaccessible to readers.

Mogale City says that a schedule might better prepare residents and “allow for accurate billing”.

Zelda Tolsma from Mindalore says that their meter box is locked away but their meters are read every month.

“Vivian, a municipal meter reader, lets me know she is on her way so that I can make the meter box accessible.”

If you find that Mogale City meter readers do not keep to the schedule or if you never have encounters with meter readers, let the News know in the comments section below.
