For the past few months police have noticed that the so-called ‘ladies of the night‘ of Luipaard Street along with their drug-lord pimps, lure potential clients to a brothel where they rob them of their personal belongings.
One such robbery allegedly took place at the fast food restaurant in Luipaard Street as stated on the Facebook page Krugersdorp Network Community, but in actual fact it took place in the filthy streets close to the brothel.
On arrival at the brothel where police suspect the clients are being lured to, they found two prostitutes and a third one with a two week-old baby locked in the house.
After some time of negotiating with the girls the door to brothel was opened and they were taken into police custody for questioning.
The third girl with her infant, was immediately released after she tested negative for drugs.
The other two, who first claimed they were simply visiting at the brothel, later spilled the beans at the police station where they not only admitted to being drug addicts but also sex workers.
Furthermore they admitted they were being used as ‘honey pots’ by the Nigerian foreign national of the house, known as ‘McDonald’ to lure in potential clients before robbing them.
The 18-year-old sex worker who ran away from her home in Klerksdorp told how she takes the clients’ money and then disappears into the brothel where the foreign national awaits and then robs the client, while she escapes through a bathroom window.
The other troubled 40-year sex worker who also claimed that she was simply visiting the brothel, quickly asked if she could phone her mother to come fetch her.
It is also believed that there is a dark haired, young sex worker with piercings who is also used to lure clients to this particular address.
