Four injured on N14

Four people were injured this morning 12 March after two bakkies collided on the N14-highway near the Swartkops offramp.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the badly damaged vehicles on the side of the road.

On inspection, paramedics found that four people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Two of the injured had been ejected from the vehicle in the collision.

“Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Netcare Krugersdorp Hospital for further care.”

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
