The biking community of Krugersdorp shares yet another heartache as they say goodbye to another biker.
Dawie and Yolandie Grobler were traveling along Winsor Road towards Krugersdorp when they were involved in a fatal accident.
The accident took place at 11pm on Saturday 28 February, in a nearby field.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and under police investigation.
Dawie was rushed to Leratong Hospital for treatment for a broken hand, ankle and wrist.
Sadly Yolandie passed away at the scene due to major injuries sustained from the impact of the crash.
Dawie is allegedly still in hospital under supervision with police also present.
Yolandie was a member of the Wicked Wheels Bikers Club.
“The passing of Yolandie leaves a great void in the Krugersdorp and West Rand biking community,” said Neels Jonker, President of the Wicked Wheels Bikers.
