Noordheuwel house robbers wanted

One suspect still on the run after a Noordheuwel house robbery.

The community of Krugersdorp is warned to be on the look out for two armed robbers who robbed a house in Noordheuwel on 16 January.

Police are appealing to residents who may have information that could lead to the arrest or identification of the two suspects.

It is believed the armed robbers gained access to the Noordheuwel home at 6.30am where they met up with the family of the house.

The robbers tied up the husband, wife and domestic worker before cleaning out the house.

They stole a number of electrical appliances, laptops, jewelery, cellphones and two motor vehicles.

One vehicle was recovered in Soweto where a suspect was shot and arrested.

He is recovering in hospital under safeguard with the second suspect still on the run.

Cases of house robbery and theft of motor vehicle are being investigated at Krugersdorp police station.
