Sector 9 CPF grows stronger every day

Since the establishment of the Sector 9 Community Policing Forum in the Mindalore and Lewisham neighbourhoods, the sector has grown tremendously.
“We highly praise our patrollers for their dedicated hours and hard work; for working hand in hand with the police and to find ways to curb crime and illegal substance dealings,” Leon Ehrke, Chairman of Sector 9 said proudly.
Sector 9 CPF members have joined forces with the police during various crime-prevention operations, with many more to come in the area.
“We need more residents to become involved and active CPF members to assist with patrolling our neighbourhood.”
The battle against drugs is still on-going and it is the CPF’s mission to rid the community of the illegal trade with the assistance of the police.
“Active involvement with and commitment to the CPF as a whole will give community members the opportunity to offer their unique skills and resources in a collective fight against crime for the sake of the safety and security of our neighbourhood.”
The Sector 9 CPF is committed to safeguarding all residents of the area, with a special focus on vulnerable senior residents.
Sector 9 invites the residents of Mindalore and Lewisham to their first CPF Sector 9 community meeting, which will take place at the NG Kerk on Saturday 31 January from 10am.
