Gymnasts climbing to the top

Visions crowned nine National Champions and five gymnasts ended up in the Top 3 in the overall results in their respective categories.

Visions Gymnastics Club has reason to celebrate.

After achieving great successes at the African Championships, the club continued achieving great results during the National Championships which was held in Klerksdorp for the Level 7 to senior Olympic gymnasts.

During this competition Visions had eight gymnasts who managed to obtain a place in the Top 3 in overall results in their respective categories.

The Level 4 to 6 gymnasts competed in the Gym Games held in Cape Town. At this competition Visions crowned nine National Champions and five gymnasts ended up in the Top 3 in the overall results in their respective categories.

Twins Gabriella and Riccardo Colandrea was a force to be reckoned with. Gabriella came second overall at the National Championships and her brother Riccardo came first in his class section.

Both of them were selected for International competitions – Gabriella for the Zone 6 Challenge, to be held in Namibia and Riccardo will represent the South African Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) in Serbia.

Ruan Lange and Kean Myburgh were also selected to represent SAGF in the upcoming Zone 6 Challenge of which Ruan was crowned National Champion in his level.

“We are very proud of our gymnasts and with these results, Visions Gymnastics confirms a place as a top club in South Africa,” said club owner and coach Adéle Heine proud.
