Police has released CCTV snippets of suspects linked to various shopping malls robberies including the local super-regional Cradlestone Mall.
This was done in an effort to put a stop to the spate of mall robberies in Gauteng. Snippets taken at Cradlestone Mall show a group of armed men targeting the Browns jewellery store during a recent heist in June.
The police also is offering a reward of up to R200 000 for any information that may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of these criminals. In all the robberies there were between two and five male suspects involed.

There has been 11 incidents of robberies at malls in Gauteng recently, which can be categorised as cellular shop robberies and cash in transit robberies.
Gauteng Police Commissioner Lesetja Mothiba has confirmed a national team of detectives has been assigned to help their local counterparts investigate a spate of violent mall robberies.
